THE STATE IS AWARDING MURRAY COUNTY $824,648, WHICH WILL BE USED OVER FOUR YEARS.
PLANS FOR THE FUNDING INCLUDE EXPANDING GPS MONITORING AND INCREASING FIELD SUPERVISION DURING NON-TRADITIONAL HOURS OF YOUTH ON FORMAL PROBATION.
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, YOUTH PROGRAMS WILL BE OBTAINED FROM COMMUNITY AGENCIES.
AN RFP FOR THOSE SERVICES WILL BE RELEASED AFTER APPROVAL OF FUNDING.
